REIKI SESSIONS WITH ALISHIA
What does a Reiki session involve?
- Note: Reiki Energy Healing sessions are conducted by a certified Reiki Practitioner (more info on certification classes)
- First, if you are new to Reiki, we'll take a few minutes to discuss what to expect during the session.
- We'll spend a few minutes discussing your intention (what you are hoping to heal).
- You remain fully clothed and will lay on a comfortable treatment table (massage table)
- I will hover my hands above your body in a series of hand placements
- Each hand placement is held for 1 to 5 minutes
- Energy will flow from my hands to where it is needed by your body/mind/spirit.
- The session will end with a discussion/analysis of what was felt/experienced during the reiki session.
Note: if the session is being held via Zoom, the distance/remote healing is performed using powerful distance healing symbols (you get to sit/lay comfortably in your space).

What will I experience during the session?
- You may experience coolness, heat, twitching, or a slight tingling sensation during
the treatment
- You might feel deep peace, calmness and may even fall asleep

Session Length & Fees
Time: Reiki sessions are one hour in length at a time (this gives us 15 minutes at the start to discuss/answer questions, 30 minutes of reiki, and then 15 minutes to debrief).

How often should I have a Reiki session?
This varies from person to person. Some like to have a treatment every once in a while for an extra boost (e.g., if they are feeling run-down, want to relax and decrease their stress level). Others feel that one treatment is all they require. For individuals receiving treatment for an ongoing problem (e.g., depression, pain, headaches, illnesses of all kinds), it is recommended that they schedule more regular sessions (the time-frame between visits can be discussed with the practitioner).
